Intro series are a great place to start your yoga practice. At Home Yoga, we select only the most talented and experienced teachers to instruct what can become the foundation of a lifelong practice. You can be rest assured that your Home Yoga instructor will be accessible, nonjudgmental, and foster a noncompetitive and safe atmosphere in class. These six week sessions are designed for anyone new to yoga or continuing students interested in reconnecting to the fundamentals of a physical yoga practice, including basic yoga postures and breathing practices. This series will prepare students for a variety of classes offered at Home Yoga. Some will be ready to move on after one session, others choose to repeat the Intro series multiple times before moving on.
Intro Series FAQ
What if I miss a class?
- You can make it up by taking any one of our regular drop-in classes. Basic classes are recommended. The six week series pays for six classes. You are allowed up to two make up classes.
Do I need a yoga mat?
- No. We have community yoga mats that are free of charge.
What do I wear?
- Wear comfortable clothing that is not restrictive. The studio is set at a warm. comfortable temperature. Layering is recommended.
