Michelle was drawn to movement from a young age, leading to a career as a professional ballet dancer. When shifting her vocational focus to grow in corporate management, she discovered yoga as an outlet from the daily stress and demands of her work. Now, her passion for yoga and teaching is evident in the lighthearted, enthusiastic approach she brings to every class.
Michelle’s classes combine alignment instruction with vinyasa (flow) transitions, focusing on presence, awareness and a strong attention to detail. She offers a down to earth, non-intimidating environment, encouraging students to move slowly and mindfully in their bodies. Her hope is that through the practice of yoga, we can find clarity each day: accessing ease, personal strength and introspection.
Michelle received her 500 hour teaching certification with Pacific Yoga. She offers group and private classes, as well as workshops and retreats across the Pacific Northwest
